Course Overview

Learn to design, install, configure, monitor and perform basic troubleshooting of a Cisco WLAN in small and medium-sized business and enterprise installations. This course is designed to help you prepare for the CCNA Wireless certification, an associate-level certification in the wireless field. Reinforce what you learn with instructorassisted, hands-on labs that include creating an ad-hoc connection and analyzing the communication, configuring a controller and access point (AP), converting an autonomous AP to controller-based mode, installing and configuring a mobility express wireless controller and AP, configuring EAP-FAST authentication with WPA,configuring the controller and the AP from the WCS interface, working with the map editor tool, and backing up
the controller configuration and WCS database. You'll also address troubleshooting issues introduced by the instructor.
