Microsoft SQL Server 2005 BI Training from Solartech

This 5-days SQL Server 2008 accelerated BI training Boot camp teaches students on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services.  Students can attend this SQL Server 2008 Training Boot Camp either in-person or via our LivE (live and eco-friendly) platform.  All students will have access to hosted class labs after hour during the training week from home.

Day 1-2: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services

The first 2 days of this SQL Server 2008 BI training will teaches students how to implement an Analysis Services solution in an organization. The section discusses how to use the Analysis Services development tools to create an Analysis Services database and an OLAP cube, and how to use the Analysis Services management and administrative tools to manage an Analysis Services solution.

After completing this section of SQL Server 2008 BI training, students will be able to:

• Describe how SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services can be used to implement analytical solutions.
• Create multidimensional analysis solutions with SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services.
• Implement dimensions and cubes in an Analysis Services solution.
• Implement measures and measure groups in an Analysis Services solution.
• Query a multidimensional Analysis Services solution.
• Customize an Analysis Services cube.
• Deploy and secure an Analysis Services database.
• Maintain a multidimensional Analysis Services solution.
• Implement a Data Mining solution.

Day 3:
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services

Day 3 of this SQL Server 2008 BI boot camp teaches students how to implement an Integration Services solution in an organization. This training section discusses how to develop, deploy, and manage Integration Services packages.

After completing this section of SQL Server 2008 BI training, students will be able to:

• Describe SQL Server 2008 Integration Services and its tools.
• Create a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package.
• Implement control flow in a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package.
• Implement data flow in a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package.
• Implement logging in a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package.
• Debug and implement error handling in a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package
• Implement checkpoints and transactions in a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package.
• Deploy a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package
• Manage and secure a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package

Day 4-5: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services

Day 4-5 of SQL Server 2008 BI boot camp teaches students how to implement a Reporting Services solution in their organizations. The section of training discusses how to use the Reporting Services development tools to create reports, and how to use the Reporting Services management and administrative tools to manage a Reporting Services solution.

After completing section of SQL Server 2008 BI training, students will be able to:
